How do I draw from the comments of a video?
Two honest ways. Paste the qualifying commenters into the wheel’s text view, one per line — duplicates fold, and the wheel stays readable to about ninety names before the list beside it becomes the working copy. Or use the fact that comments are ordered: count them, draw a number in that range, and scroll to the comment at that position.
The number draw is the one that scales. A video with four thousand comments is not a paste job, but “comment number 2,741” is one spin of the number wheel and one scroll — and the position was drawn in the open, which is more than a screenshot of a spreadsheet shows anyone.
How do I show the draw on camera?
Record the spin and put it in the result video — the wheel, the entrant list standing still, then the draw. Read the draw id out when you announce. It is eight characters made to be said aloud, it identifies the exact draw in the log on your device, and it turns “trust me” into “here is which spin it was”. What about subscriber-only rules and multiple winners?
State the rule, then verify the winner rather than the whole list. No tool can honestly check subscriber status for everyone in advance — subscriptions are private unless the viewer makes them public — so the workable rule is: draw first, check that the winner meets the conditions, and re-draw with the log open if they do not. The un-met condition and the re-draw are both in the record.
For several prizes, elimination mode takes each winner off the wheel so the runner-up prize is drawn from everyone who has not won yet. The session log keeps the order the winners came up in, which is the list your description box needs anyway.
